GDPR, Award Force and you

by | Jan 31, 2018 | Press releases

Update here >

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is an EU regulation, however it affects organisations worldwide if you are dealing with the data of EU residents.

Award Force has been working toward full compliance with the GDPR and is committed to complying by the 25 May 2018 deadline. If your awards, grants or application program involves the data of any EU residents, your organisation must also comply, or risk substantial fines. Award Force helps you comply, but it is a joint effort and not enough to simply rely on our (or any software vendor’s) compliance.

We will be publishing further information in the coming weeks about new and existing Award Force features in place to support compliance, and steps that Award Force clients may need to take.

The implementation of GDPR is a positive step for the protection of civilians’ personal data, that we fully support, and encourage that our non-EU clients consider embracing the GDPR too.

We’ll keep you posted with further updates as the deadline approaches.
