Responsibilities

Sales Analyst

You’ll be helping to put a rocket under it, as you apply your knowledge, insights and experience on our quest for continuous improvement.

Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for end-to-end sales planning, tracking, analysis and reporting. You'll be working with the global sales team, and cooperating with other teams throughout Award Force to drive productivity improvements, keep our technology humming, and ensure the right processes are in place, and up-to-date.

Being a remote company, you can work from anywhere, however, this role requires a lot of crossover time with Australian Eastern Standard Time.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse revenue performance, market dynamics, client trends, and other sales data as required

  • Manage company CRM

  • Embrace our technology stack including HubSpot CRM, Looker BI platform, RedShift data warehouse and company-wide data sources

  • Manage accuracy of forecast reports, track in line with target, and escalate as required

  • Manage team metrics within HubSpot

  • Ensure the right deals are being prioritised in sales pipelines, and team workflows are running smoothly

  • Support sales team to adhere to administrative processes

  • Collaborate with automation team to ensure efficient working processes

  • Document evolving processes

  • Coordinate with other teams to promote clear communication and cross team collaboration

  • Identify opportunities for improvement in revenue and operations, proactively

Lead DevOps Engineer

Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Lead DevOps Jedi to work remotely, helping shape platform architecture for our flagship product, Award Force.

Award Force is a fast-growing Australian SaaS company, with our flagship B2B product serving hundreds of clients globally, millions of users, and growing.

Our “official headquarters” is in Sydney Australia, but our team is fully remote, distributed worldwide, set-up with all the tools to collaborate effectively across distance and time zones. Our engineering team is in Australia and Europe— we’re currently inviting candidates located anywhere in Europe or Asia Pacific to apply, to work from your home office or coworking space.

We're looking for a Lead DevOps Jedi with a background in Linux systems admin and experienced with Amazon Web Services.

Our entire stack is completely scalable, fully autonomous, and needs additional personnel to help create some more advanced features, as well as providing additional support for our engineering and client success teams.

Essential requirements

  • Have 4+ years expert experience in designing, building and maintaining AWS cloud based infrastructure

  • Have 2+ year’s experience leading a team of TechOps Engineers

  • Have hands-on experience on EC2, S3, CloudFront, RDS, IAM, Security groups, ELB, auto scaling, deployment and migration of environment

  • Expert in debugging issues, identifying faults and enhancing logging of software

  • Are experienced in IT infrastructure and systems security, cloud or network systems management, and business continuity

  • Have knowledge of Jenkins, Packer, Chef and Consul preferred

  • Are experienced in writing code in multiple scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, etc

  • Works collaboratively across the entire organisation, balancing the needs of various departments with business pragmatism, managing stakeholder expectations, and tracking the various work streams into and out of your team.

  • Are transparent, articulate and driven to succeed.

Experience and capabilities

We're more passionate about enthusiastic, fast learners, eager to continuously learn and improve skills, with a care and real passion for people and technology, than somebody that can tick every one of these boxes - ideally you have a mix of many of the following:

  • Software architecture skills in PHP and most importantly, Laravel

  • Experience with a variety of AWS services: S3, EC2, RDS (MySQL).etc.

  • Used to Git, collaborating with other developers and working with other people's’ code.

  • Have knowledge of Jenkins, Packer, Chef and Consul preferred.
